- The year 2007 brought about some changes from 2006 because more conferences and training sessions were given, and a huge number of churches were reached!
- A significant number of people were reached in 2007, especially those in leadership positions where the number more than tripled!
- Children and those of high school age are by far the two largest people groups that are impacted by the ministry.
- There are 19 trainers on staff, but they desperately need and love their volunteers along with those that are involved prayerfully and financially. One lesson they have learned: “We don’t necessary need large staff, but large pool of volunteers.”
- So much has been accomplished in Cluj over the last 17 years, much of which can be seen through the amazing youth ministries that are reaching the young people for Christ. It is really amazing considering that in the beginning the churches were opposed to youth ministries, and there were no published resources for youth ministries.
- Some life lessons we have learned over the years:
- We don’t necessary need large staff, but large pool of volunteers.
- People that are involved prayerfully and financially with us deserve our maximum appreciation.
- The lowest level of Christianity is to be blessed; the higher level you can reach is to be a blessing! We are not here merely to make a living; we are here in order to enable the world around us to live more ample, with more vision, with a finer spirit of hope in our Lord.
- Our job as leaders is to replace ourselves!
- God is looking for people who would do whatever is necessary to make a kingdom impact!
- God is able to speak through and to young people. So, get them involved!
- We are chosen by God to open for Jesus! So, do it! Prepare the way.
- Marriage got covered during centuries with a thick layer of dirt. Marriage, God’s masterpiece, needs serious restoration.
- Life can be understood looking back, but has to be lived looking forward!
